Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB

Best Versatile RAM for i9 9900K

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB

TLDR: This RAM module curtails all the high-end features, so it’s recommended to only use the RAM module if your CPU is powerful enough to not obfuscate the actual performance of the Corsair Vengeance.

I’ll be spitting facts here, no sham, no biasedness. Well, the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB is a phenomenal entry with extreme core values. Basically, while testing the RAM (in pairs), my PC experienced a boost in performance. Not only this, on games like Days Gone and Genshin Impact, the overall FPS count increased by two folds.

It was all because of the CAS latency of 16 and the frequency of 3200MHz. Not to mention, the LPX module is compatible with AMD as well (AM4 sockets), so yeah, there’s that too. As far as overclocking is concerned, I was able to tweak the settings with the help of XMP 2.0 profiling which you can access through the BIOS. Last but not least, you really don’t have to worry about escalating temperatures as the RAM module is loaded with a solid aluminum heat spreader that aids in dissipating the heat (I didn’t come across any temperature anomalies so far).

Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB

Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB

It’s not surprising to see another Corsair product on the list of Best RAM for core i9 9900K. To be honest, the majority of the Corsair RAMs are top-notch and a must-go-to if you want to have a seamless gaming experience. As far as my experience is concerned, it was withstanding. Not because it’s from the Corsair, but it has some features that are just spell bounding.

First things first, when I launched my PC, it turned out that the overall booting time was decreased. I took it as a plus point from the SSD, but it really was not. Since the transaction time is lowered due to the CAS latency of 16, the overall running time for the applications also decreased. This was wonderful because I’m a multitasker, and I really appreciate the applications launching up quickly. If you look forward to the same results, buy this RAM already.

On top of that, the RAM earned the award of being the aesthetic of all due to the implementation of the RGB module. All you have to do is sync the RAM modules with the motherboard, and you are good to go. Also, the frequency of 3200MHz is a plus point for playing games at higher settings. So, what are you waiting for!

  • Frequency: 3200 MHz
  • CAS Latency: CL16
  • Type: DDR4
  • Size: 16GB
Pros
  • Aesthetic
  • Works on a myriad of setups
Cons
  • A little expensive (not much, though)
