If for some reason, you are looking for a good Asus GPU, the good news is that you are easily going to find some amazing offerings with the ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6500 XT OC being one of the best 6500 XTs available in the market.
You can tell by just looking at the specs that Asus is not messing around with the specs and for all the right reasons, to be honest. The GPU you are getting is excellent and delivers top of the line performance without any issues that might come in the way.
You are getting a respectable boost of 2,825 MHz but it is important to know that in real-world tests, the boost clock is always higher, but hey, it is always better to higher. Moving further, you are also looking at a GPU that remains quiet under heavy loads, allowing you to play your favorite games without any major issues coming in the way. Not to forget, you are also getting one of the best build qualities with a great overall design, which is always something that we are looking for. Not just that, this specific variant is also great in terms of overclocking since you are getting plenty of headroom and ability to overclock without any issues that might come in the way.

- Remains quiet and cool even when under heavier loads.
- Offers a great overclock out of the box.
- One of the best GPUs for 1080p gaming.
- None.
Gigabyte Radeon RX 6500 XT GAMING OC 4G
Specifications:
- Core Clock Speed: 2815 MHz Boost
- Stream Processors: 1024
- Memory Size: 4GB GDDR6
- Dimensions: 282 x 114 x 40 mm

Gigabyte is another company known for some of the finest GPUs in the market and we have been using them for a long, long time. As a matter of fact, I currently have a Gigabyte RTX 3080 Eagle OC installed in my build and it has been there since launch. So far, I have not encountered any issues and almost everything about the GPU is still perfect. With that said, the GPU that I am reviewing now is the Gigabyte Radeon RX 6500 XT GAMING OC 4G.
Just by looking at specs, it is safe to say that the RX 6500 XT GAMING OC 4G is one capable card but the best part is that you are looking at one of the better-designed variants of the RX 6500 XT. I am sure that this is something that everyone knows but not all variants of the same GPU are designed in the same way, and there are some better versions and some not so much.
Thankfully, the GPU comes with a decent factory overclock and can easily boost up to 2815 MHz, and is also capable of going beyond that. One more thing that I really love about this variant is that despite having a heavier clock speed, you are more than capable of being sure that the GPU is not going to run into thermal issues. In my testing, it remained cool and rarely crossed the 60s and that is an impressive score.
The overall overclock that is provided out of the box is also great and the GPU does look good, too. There is no doubt that the build quality here is excellent and despite having 3 fans in total, the RX 6500 XT GAMING OC 4G is more than capable of running quietly.
If you are asking me to highlight the downsides, I honestly did not run into any issues as far as the performance goes. However, the GPU is on the longer side and might not fit in smaller cases.
Overall, the RX 6500 XT GAMING OC 4G is easily one of my favorite RX 6500 XTs in the market, sure, it is a bit longer than some of the other GPUs in the market but the overall performance remains promising and faultless.
- Has a pretty decent cooling.
- Comes with good overclock.
- Great acoustic performance.
- Top gaming performance.
- The long form factor might be an issue
PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT ITX
Specifications:
- Core Clock Speed: 2610 MHz Boost
- Stream Processors: 1024
- Memory Size: 4GB GDDR6
- Dimensions: 165 x 125 x 40 mm
- PSU Required: 400W
There is no denying that in the market that has some excellent GPUs, PowerColor is also the brand that is responsible for bringing out some of the finest offerings. If you have been using PowerColor branded GPUs, then it is safe to say that the performance is something that you already are aware of and you will not be let down, either. With that said, the PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT ITX is the GPU that we are looking at.
As you can already tell, the PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT ITX is a bit more modest in terms of the specs. Sure, most of the core specs are still there but other than that, the GPU does not have a heavy overclock, either.
Now, the reason behind the GPU having a modest set of specifications is because of the size, you are looking at an ITX variation of the card and it is best suited for smaller builds. To make sure that the GPU does not heat up and stops malfunctioning, the boost clock had to be kept lower as well.
The compact design is good, though. If you have been searching for something that can easily fit in HTPC builds, this is a great GPU. It is also one of the more affordable offerings in the market and manages to remain cool at factory settings despite having just one fan.
Now onto the things that I did not enjoy about this GPU. I’ll start with the obvious, this right here gets noisy. Why? Well, you are only getting one fan that has to keep the GPU cool, and if you are looking to push the GPU to its limit, then this is not it as the performance here is modest at best.
Overall, the PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT ITX is a great offering for those who are on a budget and are specifically looking for an ITX GPU that can fit inside a smaller case.
- One of the smallest designs available.
- Affordable.
- Runs cool on factory settings.
- Does not require a lot of power.
- Great for HTPC and some decent gaming.
- Not good for overclocking.
- Can get noisy.

One might not believe it but one of my first GPUs came from XFX, it was the 8600 GT and at that time, it was one of the most powerful GPUs that I could afford and I remember looking at the box and being blown away by how aggressive everything looked. However, XFX has come a long way and now only makes GPUs for AMD, so the XFX Speedster QICK 210 Radeon RX 6500 XT is something that we are really looking forward to considering how it is a budget offering that does the job just fine.
Looking at the specs alone, it is safe to say that everyone can assume just why the XFX Speedster QICK 210 Radeon RX 6500 XT is considered to be a budget option. You are not really looking to spend a lot of money and the best part is that with the performance you are getting, it is still good.
Sure, you are getting a basic cooler and design with no RGB that you might want but it honestly does not feel like that is a problem considering how you are not really paying a lot of money. The GPU also only requires a single 6-pin connector which is great for the power consumption as you are not going to have to worry about a lot of power being consumed.
If you are looking for some good 1080p gaming without a hitch, this is the GPU that you should be going for because it brings all the goodness that you can get from the RX 6500 XT but without the added cost of some other advanced features.
Sure, the XFX Speedster QICK 210 Radeon RX 6500 XT is not going to bring you a heap of advanced features but for the price you are paying here, the GPU happens to be one of the best in business and delivers exceptional performance all around.
