Best RTX 2080 Ti Graphics Cards 2020

Best RTX 2080 Ti Graphics Cards

Whenever we talk about the best graphics card for 4k gaming, the RTX 2080 Ti got a significant spot on this list because Nvidia and AMD haven’t released anything powerful than this beast. And of course, no one is going to argue on the performance of this graphics card.

Back in 2017, we got the GTX 1080 Ti, which manages to run games at 4k resolution, but you have to do some negotiations on the in-game details. However, this one is 71% more expensive, the founder edition of its predecessor. We’ve tested a few games on this graphics card, and its performance looks 26% more than the flagship card from previous architecture. We’ve listed up a few Best RTX 2080 Ti graphics cards, which you can consider for your upcoming build.

The performance of this graphics card is excellent, but there is a question that what RTX 2080 Ti will be best for us. As we already know, the founder edition comes with basic thermal solution and design, so most users like to go with some aftermarket model.

Manufacturers like ASUS, MSI, and EVGA, etc. have released several RTX 2080 Ti for every kind of gamer, and we have picked a few ones so you can decide which one will be best for you. Those who don’t want to spend some extra bucks on the fancy design I would recommend you go with that which has all the necessary things. But if you want something unique there, we have the liquid cooler variants too.

Asus ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

Asus ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

Asus is the top leading brand in motherboards and graphics card industry, and how can we miss their Republic of Gamer series from our list? The good thing in this graphics card is its overclocking power and thermal design. As we’ve previously seen in their graphic cards, they use military class components the same as MSI and other top tier brands. The base clock of this graphics card is the same as the founder edition, but the boost clock is slightly better, while the extra overclocking margin gives it an advantage. All of the other specifications remain the same as the reference card.

The cooling system of this graphics card is best in its class as it comes with Max Contact Technology with three Axial-tech fans. On the left of this graphics card, there are two DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports, while there is also a USB Type-C port for VR and other devices. The front side has three black colored large size fans with some RGB lights that can be controlled from the application in Windows. The top side has two 8-Pin power connectors, which gives most of the power to this graphics card. The neutral black color gives some attractive looks to this graphics card.

Asus ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is excellent in terms of performance but not in price. It’s one of the most expensive graphics cards ever released, and I would recommend this if you have a low budget. This graphics card is not fancy in any way as it has a simple black colored shroud with some RGB lights on it. Also, there are some rumors on the web that Nvidia is going to launch their Ampere architecture graphics card in September 2020 so that if it is true, I would recommend you to buy those GPUs. If you are running some old operating systems, you might face some compatibility issues or low performance, but with Windows 10, it’s best to use.

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Turbo OC

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Turbo OC

Gigabyte has released several RTX 2080 Ti in Auros to some budget level categories, and all of them offer great value for their price. There we have the single fan GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Turbo from this company, and it is mainly targeted for a budget audience. Right now, at the time I’m writing this article, it’s the cheapest RTX 2080 Ti even from the reference card. But with its price, I found it much better over the founder edition as it has Gigabyte advanced cooling design and better clock rates. Also, the clocks of this graphics card are overclocked by the factory means you can get some additional frame rates with it.

The core clock of the reference card is 1545 MHz, while this one comes with the clock speed of 1620 MHz and its factory overclocked version. Same as the other RTX 2080 Ti, this one also has two 8-Pin power connectors, which offers most of the power to it. The front of this graphics card doesn’t have any fancy looks as it comes in a black colored shroud with a single RGB fan that is responsible for all of the cooling under the cover. Instead of adding the power connectors on the top, Gigabyte puts them on the proper right side.

While reviewing it, I found nothing wrong with this graphics card as it comes for an affordable price and offers the same performance as of the other cards. It would be much better if this graphics card comes with RGB lights as these days, most of the PCs have RGB coolers and fans, and users like them in their build. Also, there is only one HDMI port, but we need more than one, but that doesn’t matter a lot. If you don’t get this graphics card good there, we have some other options too that you can also consider your build.

  • Supports up to four monitors.

  • Only one HDMI port.

MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio

MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio

When it comes to gaming graphics cards, MSI doesn’t stand behind any other top tier brand, and they have some of the most popular GPU series, including Gaming X for mid-range users and Ventus for the budget. There we have the MSI Gaming X RTX 2080 Ti, which comes with a new design as we have previously seen in this architecture, and the company changed a lot from the previous one found in Pascal. Design Wise the thing that differs from other RTX GPUs in this series is its three fans with a bunch of RGB lights.

This graphics card has a black and grey colored shroud with some fabric like pattern printed on it, which gives it some attractive looks. Some RGB lights on the front give it great looks, and if you are an RGB lover, you might find this graphics card better than all others. On the back, there is a brushed grey colored backplate with an MSI logo on it, same as the other Gaming X graphics cards. The right side has three Display Ports, one HDMI and one USB Type-C port, which allows you to connect multiple monitors and gives support for VR devices. On the top, there are MSI RTX logo and some RGB stripes around it and two 8-Pin power connectors.

No doubt it’s one of the best models in terms of performance and looks, but the thing that makes users confused about it is its only 6% performance difference than the founder edition. There is only one HDMI 2.0 port on the right side, but it would be much better if it comes with more than one. The price of this graphics card is terrible, and I found it one of the most expensive graphics cards in the market. I would recommend this GPU if you are not conscious about the budget; otherwise, there are some cheap models too from MSI, and you can look at them.

Pros
  • Attractive design.
  • A lot of RGB lights.
  • Great clock speeds.
  • Supports VR out of the box.
Cons
  • Not much faster than the FE or reference card.
  • One HDMI slot only.
  • Most expensive model of RTX.

GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Xtreme

GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Xtreme

Gigabyte has more than six RTX 2080 Ti in their Auros line up, where all of them are premium options but for a high price. The good thing in this graphics card is its water-cooling system, which comes pre-installed and has a 240mm radiator. For all these extra features, you might have to pay an additional thousand dollars, but if you are an RGB lover and building a high-end PC, there might not be a problem. This graphics card has a bunch of RGB lights that support different effects, and you can change it with an application on your PC.

The front side of this graphics card is pretty straightforward as it has RGB lights and some patterns on the shroud. On the back, there is a large-sized black colored backplate with the Aorus RGB logo, which has changeable RGB lights. On the top, there are two pipes of the liquid cooler and two 8-Pin power connectors, which gives most of the power to it. The right side has three DisplayPort and three HDMI ports; also, there is a USB Type-C port for VR devices. The clock rates of this graphics card are much better than the founder edition, and still, there is some overclocking margin in it.

The most terrible thing I found in GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Xtreme is its high price, which most of the budget and mid-range users can’t afford. If you don’t care about the budget, then I would recommend you to go with this graphics card. The minimum power supply I would recommend you with this graphics card is at least 750W, but it’s a bit high than any other RTX. Also, it’s a power-hungry graphics card as it comes with the AIO cooler, which takes more power, and I would recommend you this if you don’t care about these things.

Memory Clock1‎4140 MHz
Display Output3x DP 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0, 1x USB Type-C
Power Connectors2x 8 Pin
Minimum PSU7‎50W
Pros
  • Water cooling system in GPU.
  • Has a 240mm radiator.
  • Best in class aesthetics and performance.
  • Offers more clocks than the founder edition.
Cons
  • Terrible price and lies in premium options.
  • Power-hungry graphics card.

EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Ftw3 Ultra

EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Ftw3 Ultra

EVGA has more than eight RTX 2080 Ti in their product list, and all of them offer the best out of them. Also, you might already know that EVGA is one of the top distributors of Nvidia graphics cards and provides the best in the class cooling system for more overclocking potential. All of the eight variants from EVGA have RGB lights and use more than two slots, so in some motherboards, you might not be able to use PCIe x1 slots. Also, this graphics card comes with a factory overclocked multiplier, and the company claims that its temperature doesn’t even cross the 65C temperature. I would say it’s one of the best RTX 2080 Ti you can get for your upcoming build.

This graphics card has a transparent shroud, which gives some black colored effects, and the RGB lights inside it make it more attractive. The right side has three display ports and an HDMI port. This graphics card also supports VR devices out of the box, and you can connect any VR set with it. On the top, there is an RTX 2080 Ti logo and two 8-Pin power connectors at the right end of it. The backside has a large backplate colored in black and has good looking designs on it, which gives attractive looks.

The main problem I found with this graphics card is its price as it’s the same as the other premium graphics cards like from ROG or Aorus series. This graphics card uses more than one slot, and that might be a bit annoying for those who are using a micro-ATX motherboard and want to use PCIe x1 slots. EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Ftw3 Ultra gives excellent aesthetics. Still, if you are an RGB lover and building a fancy gaming PC, this might not look much appealing to you as it has a transparent shroud, but that’s my personal opinion. Overall, there is no doubt that it’s one of the best graphics cards we can get, but only if you can pay its premium price.

Specifications:

Graphics CardEVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Ftw3 Ultra
Core Clock1350 MHz
Base Clock1‎620 MHz
Cuda Cores4‎352
Memory Clock1‎4000 MHz
Display Output3x DP 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0, 1x USB Type-C
Power Connectors2x 8 Pin
Minimum PSU650W
Pros
  • Transparent body with RGB lights.
  • Plenty of display output ports on the back.
  • Power-efficient graphics card.
  • Gives excellent value for its price.
Cons
  • 2.5% Slots are a bit annoying for PCIe x1 slot users.
  • Looks-wise, it’s straightforward, but in RGB builds, it looks good.

MSI RTX 2080 Ti Ventus GP

MSI RTX 2080 Ti Ventus GP

We’ve previously reviewed an MSI graphics card, but that was from the mid-range series and was extremely expensive, so I decided to list up a cheap option from the same manufacturer. There we have the MSI RTX Ventus GP, which has all of the basic features set but doesn’t offer premium options. The clock speed of this graphics card is almost the same as of the founder edition, and it doesn’t come with a factory-overclocked multiplier. It’s a two-fan graphics card with ATX PCB, and you can save a thousand bucks with this graphics card if you don’t want RGB lights, etc.

This graphics card has a simple black and white-colored shroud with two fans on the front side. Looks-wise, you might not like it as it gives straightforward looks and lacks RGB lights and other fancy stuff, but the good thing is it doesn’t stand before others in performance. On the top, there is a six and an eight-pin power connector, and it’s not power-hungry like other cards. The right side has three Display Ports 1.4 and one HDMI port, and it supports up to four displays. The backside has a black colored brushed backplate with an MSI logo and a diagonal strip that looks reasonable.

The bad in this graphics card is it’s the same as the founder edition of the reference card, but there is a good thing that it’s much cheaper than that version. Also, this graphics card lacks RGB lights, which some users found terrible in this as these days, everyone has RGB builds. Also, it would be much better if this graphics card comes with more than one HDMI port and USB Type-C port, as this one lacks them. Overall, I would say that this graphics card is the best one if you got a low budget, but you have to compromise on a few things.

Specifications:

Graphics CardMSI RTX 2080 Ti Ventus GP

Base Clock1545 MHz
Cuda Cores4‎352
Memory Clock1‎4000 MHz
Display Output3x DP 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0
Power Connectors2x 8 Pin
Power Consumption250W
Pros
  • Affordable option from MSI.
  • Serves all essential features.
  • Performance and design-wise, it’s excellent.
  • Compatible with most of the VR devices.
Cons
  • No different than the founder edition.
  • Lacks RGB lights.
  • Has only one HDMI port.

PNY GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11GB Blower

PNY GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11GB Blower

In the end, we have the PNY RTX 2080 Ti, and if you don’t know about this vendor so let me clear you that it’s one of the top Nvidia graphics card distributors. The thing which makes PNY better than other vendors is they just focus on the things that are necessary for the primary usage and don’t focus on additional stuff. So those who like to have high-end hardware but don’t want to spend extra money on RGBs and AIO coolers will found it a better option. Also, these graphics cards offer the same performance as the other premium brands, but the main thing you might lack in them is fancy looks.

PNY GeForce RTX 2080 Ti comes with a single fan on the front right of it, but that doesn’t mean it is wrong in cooling as it is engineered in such a way that it gives maximum cooling with this fan. The shroud has covered the whole PCB and is colored in black, which picks colors from other RGB lights in your PC. On the top side, there are two 8-Pin connectors like all of the other cards on the list. The display output options on this graphics card are excellent as it supports four monitors and has three Display Ports and one HDMI port along with a USB Type-C option for VR.

No doubt PNY has released an excellent entry for budget users as not everyone wants to get a high-end machine with all of the premium features, and with this GPU, you only have to pay for the basic features. Price-wise, this graphics card is good, but still, it’s expensive, and a price cut would be much appreciated in it. Some users do the favor of having RGB lights in graphics cards, but I don’t like RGB, and as it comes in pure black color, it looks without RGB lights, but that’s my opinion on it.

Specifications:

Graphics CardPNY GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11GB Blower
Core Clock1350 MHz
Base Clock1545 MHz
Cuda Cores4‎352
Memory Clock1‎4000 MHz
Display Output3x DP 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0b, 1x USB Type-C
Power Connectors2x 8 Pin
Power Consumption250 W
Pros
  • A great entry in mid-range vendors.
  • Cheaper than the premium models of RTX 2080 Ti.
  • Offers excellent value for the price you are paying.
  • Supports four monitors.
Cons
  • Affordable but price-wise, it’s still a bit expensive.
  • Missing RGB lights and straightforward looks.
  • Only one HDMI port is not enough.

Conclusion

When we look into the market there, we found hundreds of aftermarket models of every single card, and not all of them are the same. Every company releases a graphics card with its custom cooler and design, so it’s good to check the best vendor before buying. I did some research and compiled a list of some of the Best RTX 2080 Ti Graphics Card that you can consider buying in the year 2020. The good thing in these graphics cards is their power as RTX 2080Ti can max out most of the titles released yet and without compromising on in-game details and other things. So, there we got several choices from budget category to high-end models, and you can select the best one according to your budget or needs.

The best 2080 ti card you can get is the MSI RTX 2080 Ti Ventus 11GB, which offers excellent performance for its price but lacks some features like RGB lights etc. Those who are willing to spend more can even go with the PNY RTX 2080 ti, which is slightly better in thermal and overall performance in games. For those who are looking for premium options can also go with the Gaming X, Aorus or Republic of Gamer series graphics cards. All of them offer premium features set and have much better clock rates and cooling systems in them. If you are looking for something more than these, there is the Gigabyte Aorus GPU, which comes with the Water Cooler and the most expensive entry there.
